The 2011 World Series of Poker is underway! The first of 58 gold bracelet events has begun at the Rio in Las Vegas. High stakes tournaments will continue throughout June and early July.
Two events are scheduled to start today. First No Limit Hold'em for the Casino employees, and second the $25,000 buyin No Limit Hold'em heads up championship. The later is a new event, but expected to be one of the marquee tournaments with a large prize pool and up to 256 players.
